Unfortunately new information has surfaced about the European tour that was in the works. It won’t happen in 2012. In a reply on the official bulletin board at heart-music.com, management said: “I was disappointed that Heart is not playing in the UK this year too. Management asked the agents to come up with a routing that would include the major UK and European festivals. The offers that came back were not sufficient enough to pay for all of the costs associated with touring.”
Last time Heart toured Europe was in 2004 for the Jupiters Darling Tour.
Though the dissapointment must be big among European fans, it is a positive sign that Heart was trying to make it work. Next year there might be a better chance – when touring behind a new album.
